Satan?

I know luciferianism hails the archetype as the one who brought men knowledge of science and out of the dark and ignorance. Idk anything about satan being hailed a good guy. I'd love to see where this answer is derived from to broaden my knowledge of what people believe

That's what Satanism is. Hailing Satan as the good guy, whether overtly or inadvertently. There's not really such a thing as "religious Satanism" necessarily because they typically interpret the Bible as a purely symbolic story only read religiously by "the profane". The word "occult" means "hidden" as in they believe it's a hidden message underlying the themes. They usually consider themselves god in some way.

In the same way that Christians venerate God and attempt to follow His example, Satanists do the same. Which is, the worship of the self, rejection of the creator, worship of knowledge, etc. (Same common themes in universities, where the masses are being indoctrinated into the one world satanic religion without even realizing it)

So you wouldn't see something like them worshipping Satan as the "true god" if that makes sense. These are generalizations though because when you get into New Age/Occult type of stuff throw a rock and you'll find a different belief system.

Satanism was started by a jew named Anton LeVay, who described it as "basically objectivism, but with some religious ritual and symbolism to make it more appealing", it used to appeal to me when I was in high school, but I've obviously moved on since then, can't remember most of it, as it has been a while since then and that was a period of my life I've done my best to try and forget about, but I feel pretty confident in my current position that's admittedly objectivist-influenced, but more focused on collectivism based on genetic similarity (Which Ayn Rand would have opposed) than just on individualism (though my concept of "drawing circles" does put the individual in the first circle, the obligation towards self can be overcome by multiple individuals in the second circle, or by just one individual in the second circle who is given priority due to being of a newer generation than my own), five of my main influences are Richard Dawkins, Adolf Hitler, Friederich Neitzsche, Utilitarian Ethics, and Capitalist Ethics (particularly the concepts of the Non-Aggression Principle and Night-Watchman Minarchist State).

Well it doesn't need to be elaborated on about him historically being the bad guy, so I'll skip that. He wasn't the father of the lie or a master manipulator or game-player but the one casting the allegations.
