I lost faith in humanity when I was around 12 or 13 years old, after years of bullying by assholes who wanted me to conform to something else. See those same people get rewarded in adult hood was just more salt in the wound.

Putting words into user's mouths, which means making them appear like they wrote something they never actually did, especially on sensitive posts, is one of the greatest violations of user trust possible.
