As you age and reach about 45 your eyeballs never stop growing but your skull sockets do. This means your eyeballs begin to distort and prevent your eye muscles from being able to focus on items close to you. This is why older people need reading glasses.
No amount of raw food will change those physics.
But when younger and especially if you have difficulty focusing at a distance getting more sunlight definitely helps. Your eyes actually use light contrast on your focal plane to regrow and reshape your focal plane to maintain ability to focus. If you don't get bright sunlight or you wear corrective lenses that system fails.
More sunlight = the pupil of the eyes constricts = you focus better, because it acts like the pinhole effect.
Eyeballs don't grow past age 3 or so, the lens itself in the eye becomes harder as you get older, which means that when you hit your 40s you need reading glasses because it can't change its shape as well as it could before. It has nothing to do with "distortion" or "growing eyeballs". .
A friend of mine ended up having cataract surgery in his 20s because he had an injury to an eye a few years before that, and he lost the ability to focus up close in that eye.
I wish people would stop believing fucking nonsense being spewed on plebbit.
