(Want to let you know, the question in the title isn't a quote but from memory.)
The answers were fucking stupid, too. They said it would end the abortion debate, and that everyone would support abortion.
It really annoyed me because I couldn't articulate why I thought it was all so retarded. But now I know... The question is a lefty-style question. So, in this question, reproductive roles change, but the men remain men, and the women remain women. BECAUSE GENDER IS ABOUT WHAT'S IN YOUR MIND.
No, yah dumb fucks! REPRODUCTIVE ROLES CREATE MEN OR WOMEN. If men gain the ability to give birth they are just women, and the men are women. Except they would give birth in a really, really, physically impossible, stupid manner.
The question is almost the same as asking: "What if women all had dicks, and balls, and gave birth with their balls?"
And the answer obviously is that's impossible without magic. And if following the original question, and it was possible, having a baby in your balls would be worse than having a baby in your belly. So, yeah, obviously this would change perspectives, but imagining that scenario does not not provide a realistic commentary on society.
Why not ask about giving birth in one's eyeballs? It's just as absurd, and stupid. Ah, got so pissed off at this. The original is probably from a "male feminist." Holy God. Reddit is filled with morons. Thanks for reading!
