I spent my whole life as a hard-core, punk rock liberal. I had random colored death-hawks and pierced my septum and dressed like an 80's death rocker. I gnashed my teeth against the preconceived ideas and judgements that conservatives would level against alternative adults. I listened to Jello Biafra condemn censorship on my Walkman when I walked home from school in my Doc Martens. I crusaded major school projects to raise awareness for man-made climate change. I took to the streets for abortion rights for women and poured out passionate diatribes in defense of a person's right to love whomever the fuck they please. I believed that my tax dollars, (I've been working legally since I was 15) did NOT belong in the pockets of the men up top, but belonged to We the People, and I support tax funded healthcare for all. I spent high school with my face submerged in Kafka or Camu, Immanuel Kant and Dostoevsky. I worked as a stripper for years after high school because I believed I was a LIBERATED WOMAN and my sexuality was MINE. I lost myself in Poe and Baudelaire, and listened to AL Franken on Sirius Radio and Bill Maher on HBO. I believed MY party was the party of the fucking INTELLECTUALS. The rationales. WE were the debaters. WE were the brains. WE were the ones who would prevail because we were intelligent, well educated, tolerant, open minded, and capable of mastery in discussion because of our swift wit and willingness to approach an idea from all angles.
But if I get banned from one more mother fucking left wing sub for challenging newly developed left wing ideology I swear to mother fucking God I am just going to hate vote for Trump.
Why the FUCK can't I ask anyone the reasons for migrants refusing asylum in Mexico? Or Ecuador? Or ANY South American country? Why the FUCK can I not only NOT ask that question, but NO one can answer it, and I'm BANNED EVERY FUCKING TIME I ASK?
Why the FUCK am I not allowed to post or subscribe in ANY MOTHER FUCKING sub that's even remotely right wing?
