I don’t seek these people out, I swear! It doesn’t matter where we meet—online, through friends, etc...growing up around a bunch of partiers (who still drink a fuck ton) makes me an alcoholic’s dream. I should be a walking AlAnon ad.

I used to come in drunk in the middle of the night and get my wife out of bed and get her to make me some fried squash. I stood in the kitchen with the weeble-wobbles eating it.

Do you have any advice for me? Currently “falling” for a drunk...which led me to the fucking sub. I’m pretty sure he’s at at least a fifth a day. It’s so hard. I’m always drawn to fucked up people.

Putting words into user's mouths, which means making them appear like they wrote something they never actually did, especially on sensitive posts, is one of the greatest violations of user trust possible.
