Do you have any advice for me? Currently “falling” for a drunk...which led me to the fucking sub. I’m pretty sure he’s at at least a fifth a day. It’s so hard. I’m always drawn to fucked up people.

Liquor drunks are the worst, imo. I'd just tell them to their face DAY ONE, if you drink, don't do it around me. Tell them you won't have sex with them if they are drunk. and if you catch them, the consequences need to be harsh and swift. Tell them your door will shut and never reopen. That's the only way to deal with them. They like pity with the "its a sickness" bullshit.

I was and she knew it. She doesn't drink nor do drugs. I even told her I don't know how should could stand being around drunks while sober. I can't do it. I guess she liked being around me but she did get on me from time to time about my drinking so I'd slack off a little for a while.
