It is definitely not funny but in Crippling Alcoholics, it is. The random shit they post about is funny as hell. One post said “I woke up from a blackout this morning and I found out I joined Indeed and even made myself a resume”.

Reddit is very handy and useful in trying to find information about various things. It's a good place to get people's input on random things, I use it for that all the time. No shame in it!

One of my close friends would get up every morning and chug liquor. Now he's dust in an urn. He grabbed his side one day and started screaming. When he got to the hospital they put him on life support. His pancreas and liver were gone.

That’s terrible. Look, I am very familiar with alcoholics, as I have two of them for parents. They hide everything. Most men I meet end up being alcoholics, too. I’ve been around it my whole life so I guess that’s what I’m familiar with and who I attract. I, fortunately or unfortunately, am not an alcoholic.

I don’t seek these people out, I swear! It doesn’t matter where we meet—online, through friends, etc...growing up around a bunch of partiers (who still drink a fuck ton) makes me an alcoholic’s dream. I should be a walking AlAnon ad.
