text-transform: uppercase – The same thing that BitChute uses for their video titles.

This is becoming an annoying design trend (if overused).

The all-uppercase HOT/NEW/TOP/POP buttons on Poal are alright.

But examples of it being overused include Microsoft Office 2013 (I use LibreOffice anyway) and Samsung TouchWiz starting in 2015.

The all-uppercase HOT/NEW/TOP/POP buttons on Poal are alright.

It's also used for sub's names in the menu bar and posts (easier to ready than mixed upper and lower case with smaller fonts).
