I was actually serious with my question, but they're all 'you said there's only 2 genders on Twatter! Go to jail!' tards.

It did help me though to find what to investigate next - how did the police obtain my IP address / link it to whichever Reddit accounts?

Putting words into user's mouths, which means making them appear like they wrote something they never actually did, especially on sensitive posts, is one of the greatest violations of user trust possible.
