I assume paid. The paid ones are terrified of being banned. I did a crackdown on a number of users where I banned them from multiple subreddits and it had a chilling effect on the chaos they were trying to do in /r/intelligence. Normal people just make a new account, but it costs paid actors money and time to get something with thousands of karma points to be able to be disruptive.
Great intel.
It's useful to be a mod of certain subjects because you can catch what reddit admin is autmatically banning before it even gets to the mods. Any link from Big League Politics. Any link from Fifth Domain... a handful of others. It is really useful to stay apprised of what is being censored the most.
What %/# of reddit users do you think still come there to get informed about news/politics/opinion/happenings in the world around them? Haven't they driven off anyone with the ability to critically think by this point?
