Funny, that's what I think of the BLM flag, BLM fist, Antifa Flag, and the Socialism Fist (looks very similar to the BLM fist...that is not on accident).

Those are tried and true symbols of violent authoritarians.

If I see someone sporting the Roman Torture-Murder device known as the cross, sure, it's rather stupid that they wearing that as a symbol of good. But at least I know I can get an understanding of their fundamental morals and reason with them. "I see you wear a cross. That means you're a Christian. What about [topic xyz that makes them not do something bad]?" Works very well even unhinged Christians - they understand. Going against fundamental beliefs is going against Christ. So they can be reasoned with.
