Whats the alternative? wouldnt it be better to fail trying to do something even with a fake leader then being coerced into submission by fear of being alone? the jan6 protests are a great example, sure the protest was a honeypot but WHAT THE FUCK DID ANY GOD DAMN AMERICAN DO ABOUT IT? nothing. Yes, though in a way Trump at least showed us that at least half the country is, at least nominally, on our side, if not more. He also lead many groups, however wrong or right, into gathering and communicating with each other.
