This only works because Canada is a communist country. In the US, being old or an invalid has valued added cost for doctors, lawyers, insurance companies, big pharma, medical supply companies. Keeping them alive is very profitable. The system is designed that someone will pay. The insurance company, the government, the average person, stolen money, etc.

I don’t know about the USA, but any country with tax payer funded healthcare is susceptible to this.

The problem is not allowing people to legally obtain assisted death. The problem is when you have that, plus a government that can remove healthcare funding from things like palliative care and mental health care. As the wait times for treatments grow assisted death becomes the only viable option for many people.

I don't know what your on but anyone can die whenever they want. it's called suicide. It's called dnr, it's called "take him/her off life support".

The jewS has medicaid or whatever it's called per state and is gubmint controlled shit tier healthcare.

It's one thing to allow "assisted death" (wtf that even means) and another to push it and force it on people. Euthanasia is not "assisting" it is killing. The very word "euthanasia" has been couched in this fuzzy comfy euphemism because it's been used in veterinary medicine for so long "we put Fluffy to sleep...Fluffy wint to the rainbow bridge..."

Give me a fucking break.
