{(2x+18)/2}-x = (x+9)-x = ... 9

Ooo turned that fucker into an algebraic equation and very nicely I'd like to say. Hell the subtracting the original number from double after adding 18 just leaves you with the 18 so it'll work with any whole number so it end up 18/2 no matter what you choose so it's nerdy fun for all ages. :)
