Texas would go under within one year, if not sooner. It is wholesale dependant on government corp welfare, federal highway fund, etc. It complains about "evil communist federal govt" all day and night but it'll NEVER turn down one red cent it can get. I am from there, seen corruption up close, and how the place functions day to day. They have no chance. California could pull it off but would crash into a communist state like Cuba or NK within 3 years. And would CA put up a "berlin wall" to keep people in? Damn straight they would.
