The only upside to this is that they seem to be packing them into the most progressive elitist/richest part of the state, along the southern coastal cities. Portland, ME already stated "we're full, no room for more" from elected progressives. I'm looking forward to when this all blows apart.

OOB and I think even Cape Elizabeth? I read an article a month or so ago about very steep increases in crime.

OOB maybe, I haven't been there lately to see for myself. Vacationers are in for a surprise if they are.

I'm not sure if there are many hotels/motels in Cape Elizabeth.

Over the past year, another 1,000+ non-citizen newcomers have made their way from the southern border to Portland, overwhelming the city’s homeless shelters. Many are being housed at taxpayer expense in hotels across Cumberland and York Counties. One hotel in South Portland houses more than 400 non-citizens, half of them children, many of whom are now enrolled in local public schools.
