Not gonna lie, it hurts like a motherfucker - still. Yup... That was way back in October and I'm still pretty well fucked.

I will walk again. I'm not sure how normal it will be. I am already walking. I hobble all over the place. I've even been onstage, once in my wheelchair. I stood for the last performance I took part in. That hurt. That hurt a lot. I was back in my wheelchair for a few days.

I ask three things from my children. I ask that they be happy, healthy, and productive. Anything more than that is gravy.

I bet that hurt like a mother fucker. You seem like a stubborn guy so I’m guessing you’ll be walking normal before too long here.

You have mentioned this before, I’m not sure how many of those 3 I’ll manage with mine but I do my best.

Glad to have you around again, I’ve missed our conversations about smashing things on other things, I bought my 2 older kids recorders and have them learning a bit with YouTube videos. It’s pretty cool, I think they learn faster than I do.

Kid's brains are more elastic and develop new neural pathways faster than adults.

There's a physiological difference between kids that studied music more than kids that did not.

On the left side of your head, to the rear, just about an inch above and behind your ear, point there.

That area will be larger the more music you study as a child. It's best to learn an instrument while young.

Well I figured recorder was a good start this summer I’m going to see if I can get the oldest to pick a real instrument and get her lessons. I think it’d do her some good. I really am constantly amazed at what they can do.

Meant to ask this last comment, are you able to play again? I want to say last time we spoke you weren’t even able to play.
