"Journalism" has the third highest per capita of psychopaths and they'll say anything to manipulate people. (People are surprised that politics is #3. The psychological professions is #1. Probably because the competition for the job scales inversely. There are a very limited number of political jobs so you at least need to be clever, journalism has more openings, and academia rewards parrots.)
