Semitic | səˈmɪdɪk |
adjective relating to or denoting a family of languages that includes Hebrew, Arabic, and Aramaic and certain ancient languages such as Phoenician and Akkadian, constituting the main subgroup of the Afro-Asiatic family. relating to the peoples who speak Semitic languages, especially Hebrew and Arabic.
Semitic has a very specific genetic and religious meaning, which is probably more meaningful than a linguistic family. I speak Spanish, pendejo, but am Scott/Irish/German and not Hispanic.
Semitic in terms of race is defined as "descended from Shem." I don't recall offhand the origins of the Arab peoples.
So you've never wondered why so many arabs just also happened to have kike noses?
Very close lineage. IIRC Genesis alludes to their descent from the child drunk Abraham conceived with his daughter. That's where I'll start when I have time. So probably 5th or 6th cousins at the top of the tree. But that's unresearched speculation.
