this right here is why public unions are a shit show. you have demands that employees make so they go to the employer and demand it, the employer says "this is what we can afford, take it our we are all out of the job" the government is supposed to be an impartial observer. what happens when the demands are to much? the company goes bankrupt and that is how you deal with the situation. now when the government is the observer and the employer while also not having to personally take any responsibility for any bad decision( they will be gone by the time the bad policy is realised for what it is) you will get our current shit show. governments by design cannot go bankrupt so what can you do? have the entire government implode or start a war, we are currently on the start a new war path we've been doing it for years
