A campaign I'm proposing where we publish videos that look at media and explain the various psychological manipulation techniques being used in them, including by breaking down their history and the studies done on them.

I'm not talking what blackpilled does, where he looks at a movie and talks about its narrative, I'm talking about something that breaks down the science of how the media manipulates minds by presenting things in such a way as to influence how the audience thinks and feels, as well as to control what they believe.

For example, we could talk about how when a psa cuts across multiple actors saying the same part of the script, it's serves as a chant, and as a means of triggering the unconscious recognition of this idea as being held by many people.

Or how when they get an actor in a lab coat to say something that it has an effect on the brain which recognized the lab coats as a symbol of trusted authority and softens the mind to the ideas being presented by the actor, even if they are consciously aware that the person in the lab coat is only an actor.

I want to relate this stuff to five things, abusive relationships, cults, advertizing, fraud, and totalitarian regimes. I want the audience to be made aware of how every one of these things they see everyday has been meticulously designed to manipulate their thoughts and feelings, and ultimately their beleifs.

I want them to be in doubt as to how much of the things they imagine are a part of their identity is actually genuine, and how much has been inserted into them by the wealthy and powerful.

We could open by asking why it is that when we see a sad movie, we actually act as though we feel sad, even though we consciously know that the tragedies on screen are all fake. A simple question but one they have likely never thought about before.

Each episode is dedicated to a different technique of psychological manipulation that you find in the media, including in works of fiction.

The first part focuses on what they see most often, then it goes into the various variations on the same thing, then it goes into the history of how this technique was discovered, and how its use was perfected, then cover the darker side of its past uses by bad people for bad purposes.

Again relating each of them to their occurrence in five situations, abusive relationships, cults, advertising, fraud, and totalitarianism.

By the end of the series, the audience will be seeing these insidious techniques of mind control in everything they watch.
