I think it's true in terms of CNN being acquired, their ratings have been in the dumps for years, they are getting smacked hard for the failed Russia collusion story it seems.
What I doubt is that CNN has any intention of being an objective news source. I could be wrong, but any conspiracy analyst would tell you we love to be proven wrong. Sometimes it seems like our only hope, our track record just keeps improving.
It's gotten to the point where even an article with sources is suspect.
Authenticity is a balance of selfishness and altruism, extremes of either end of that spectrum concern me.
