He did not even say anything against the party line. It's fine to criticize trump supporters and say the problem is not JUST trump but all his supporters to... his only sin was suggesting that the media maybe over played their hand and for that he is immediately attacked.
but to me he sounds lost. Surprisingly inarticulate, no clear POV, dismissive of the asymmetry in our politics— and a minimizer.
Stewart lost the plot before 2016 and has seemed like a rudderless scold.
