I figure in 10 years, it will be outdated and easier to replace it with something newer that is electric. They will go a long way in the next decade with all the various manufacturers offering orders on vehicles already. So maybe, I'll yank the motor and controller from this and use it as a project in something that was made gas, like a 70's japanese or european small car.
