Are you looking at the data on a yearly level? That’s far to broad. My data is broken down by week where you can see more detail.

You're comparing average death rate from five years ago to deaths during an extreme fear-mongering year, where people are getting conditioned to isolate themselves. Obviously it's gonna be marginally higher than previous averages.

Considering most of those deaths are 80+ yr olds and/or with ~4 co-morbidities... You're either deliberately disingenuous or plain dumb, either way I'm done spoon-feeding you basic common sense.

Most will be 50+, not 80+, not that it matters, they still died early.

What you’re doing is excusing the deaths by attempting to blend them in with yearly data, and also you’re trying to say they somehow don’t matter because they’re older.
