Louisiana has a long history of interesting governors. Ed Edwards (no relation) was particularly interesting. I used to know some folks named Edwards from that way (no relation either.) Said they used the name once to get in someplace they shouldn't be just to see if they could. Said "Uncle Ed told us to drop by if we were in town." That was obviously a long time ago...
