Valeryian is the race. Targaryen is a family who descends from this dying race.
Which is why I suggested that correction you because I said Targaryen in the comment you quoted, not Valeryian. The context clues that show I am tlaking about Targaryens is the subject in the video screenshot and my reference to the coin flip of madness.
Have you watched this new show? Who is that little girl supposed to be? Context of the scene implies she's Valeryian but from a different family (there's a bunch of them around at this point of the timeline still; hell, there's still Valeryians scattered around the world by the time of Game of Thrones), and I think that the man is meant to be Daemon Targaryen/Blackfyre (who should be an absolute giga-Chad of a man, based on what he does); so is that girl the princess whom Daemon goes on to allegedly groom?
