Is it their tone? Mean people are more likely to be wrong?

Is it how many people agree with them?

Is it the authority figures that agree with them?

Is it the evidence/support they bring to the table?

Is it the stories they tell about the information/event/person that convince you?

Is it how confident they seem to be about their position?

I know what I encounter constantly. I realize my posts aren't the most popular here, and I know there's more than just one reason for that.

I'm not faking anything. Want to see examples of everything but the correct answer? Check out the comments of my username on voat. Better yet, check out when I submit info about someone in SBBH there being a pedophile.

Not honest? Kek.

Look, it's REALLY simple

You can't figure out the truth by lying to yourself, it's just incompatible

From that point, people who lie, people of bad faith, people trying to dodge the subject/derail the topic, etc... Are necessarilly not in the search for truth

It's just what it is

The moment you notice that pattern, you know

And it doesn't take forever, at somepoint it shows

Were you under the impression that I didn't know the answer to OP?

Your responses are exceedingly ambiguous with any other context I can think of.

It's ambiguous for the one who doesn't want to understand

You see, that's how you don't get to the bottom of truth, by doing exactly what you're doing; Pretending you don't understand what is very clear. "People whose salary depends on not understanding the problem"
