Either that's what "you" attempt to do, or it's not... There's no in between
There isn't 36000 roads to go straight to the point
That just sounds like a non-answer.
That or yourself playing dumb
Either you are honest or you are not, either you want to get to the bottom of truth or you're trying to do something else, like avoiding a particular truth
It's that simple
You'd be surprised how many seem to think it's the other answers, which is why your response seems like a non-answer.
So many users will believe based on tone, or how many agree, or what authorities say, or stories, or how confident someone seems to be. When you say what you said, you could just as easily be one of those that thinks it's obviously what most people agree on.
