Gaming on Linux is getting better and better. Not just on SteamOS but all distros for the most part. I still mostly use windows as a gaming system. Sometimes I am lazy and don't reboot after gaming and browse/read. I also have a lot of local VM's I use for various things so even having the system being "windows" means that I am probably using at least 3 different *nix Vm's at any given time for different stuff.

From the post:

>Nearly a decade ago, Ars testing found that Valve's "Steam Machines"-era version of SteamOS performed significantly worse than Windows when SteamOS's Linux game ports were tested on the same hardware as their Windows counterparts. Today, though, Ars testing on the Lenovo Legion Go S finds recent games generally run at higher frame rates on SteamOS 3.7 than on Windows 11. The performance advantage is yet another way that Valve's upstart OS is differentiating itself from the "default" Windows installation used by most PC gamers for decades now.

They also checksum every single image and video on your system and upload it to their servers because of reasons. It's shocking how few child predators that are caught knowing they have been doing this for at least 20 years.

You don't have to believe me. The articles are out there to find on your own. They specifically say its for looking for that type of stuff.

Also that new "recall" feature is a wet dream for intel gathering as well as for advertising. It should not exist at all. Damn near no one will want or use it but they will use it for.. well, profit (and control).

true, all true

sheeple will still think that Linux is "not good enough"
