Yeah maybe, what has you on Pop OS or whatev? Never even heard of it
It's based on Ubuntu and was supposed to have support for a lot of devices out of the box.
generally they do though at times the module isnt started when pc runs so you might have to use lsmod and get the kernel module going
Steam os is debian or ubuntu based right? At any rate you should just be able to add the source repos and get whatever software/drivers you think might be the issue w/o a reinstall.
