I was trying to install Conky but apparently it won't install and others online also complained about this. I searched around and found this. http://gkrellm.srcbox.net/
It has themes that are easily changed and unlike Conky you can just use the mouse to drag this were you want it. You can in the config part GUI add remove sensors at will and change the theme also. You just right click for the config GUI. You can also adjust the width of it. There is a theme link on the page a bit on the right. You just install the themes where it tells you in your home directory.
