I was trying to install Conky but apparently it won't install and others online also complained about this. I searched around and found this. http://gkrellm.srcbox.net/

It has themes that are easily changed and unlike Conky you can just use the mouse to drag this were you want it. You can in the config part GUI add remove sensors at will and change the theme also. You just right click for the config GUI. You can also adjust the width of it. There is a theme link on the page a bit on the right. You just install the themes where it tells you in your home directory. Here's a search page of images from duckduckgo. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=gkrellm&iax=images&ia=images&iaf=size%3ALarge&iai=https%3A%2F%2Fpre00.deviantart.net%2Fbdb6%2Fth%2Fpre%2Ff%2F2015%2F206%2F5%2Fd%2Fgkrellm_64_bit_plugins_and_all_skins_by_palko_drawing-d8on0v8.jpg These are large images so you can actually see the program and the skins clearly.

When I used to run fluxbox back in the day Krellm was amazing. You can get all kinds of custom krells for volume/screen brightness/ system monitoring/ whatever. It is also very lightweight. I think I might have a screenshot of my old setup, I will post it if I can find it.

I'd like to see that image.

Found it. (pic8.co) I think this is from like 2009 or something. I had all keyboard shortcuts and 16 virtual desktops. GkrellM was rolled up and I could alt-k to drop it down and roll it back up.

Looks just like the default skin now does.
