I added the repositories for the themes and icons from noobslad "I like this site" to my synaptic repository list and downloaded and installed a shitload of themes and icons today. This is easier for the beginners than copy pasting and remembering to open the folders as root. I got themes for my window manager, color styles, and tons of icon sets. I ended up when searching for themes about 100 of them and before I had about 25 to choose from themes and icons. This site has a ton of shit and it installed like your doing and update or adding a program by just clicking install then apply and the stuff is there when you want to customize you linux desktop look. I also found when installing this way you can not only use debian but I have xfce but it allows me to use icons and themes from kde and gnome also since it installs them and not just me cutting and pasting. It's simple highlight and copy the ppa and then open your software installer and then the repository list which will if like mine have a new or add button then just paste the ppa there and then hit refresh or reload your software lists and then search and everything there is downloadable. In synaptic there is a debian red spiral "their logo" and I know it's compatible with MX linux since it's debian based. I didn't have a single install issue and everything I installed shows up in appearance and the window manager theme listings.
