An app completely fried my desktop so I decided to try zorin linux which is a newbie friendly distro.

It's basically the same but looks different- not as ugly as the mint interface; I still need to learn to use their app manager and whaever else is different to mint.

TLDR; zorin linux is a mint alternative for anyone wanting to switch to linux.

I'll give it a shot! Someone on reddit was saying they paid for the pro version and while updates 16.1 to 16.x were free, they had to pay full price for the upgrade to 17.

I use massgrave for windows so I'll be glad to try this out. Thanks.
