I've been using it for about a year for some python development.
It's rock solid, I would highly recommend it.
Now that you mention coding it makes more sense. I was wondering why someone would need a more advanced text editor, as I'm not a coder (yet).
Good point, that was not made very clear in the post.
It has syntax checking, auto-complete, language-specific auto-complete w/ dropdowns for all attributes to a class, color-coding for commands/strings/ etc, and will even launch (in my case) a Python or Python3 window to debug / compile / run the code.
I don't know how many languages it handles, but a quick search shows a crapload.
