Exactly, KISS priciple. Printscreen key then open new image doc in a graphics app then click edit paste and if you need just an area of the image use crop tool as in if in GIMP. I still kind of can't believe many do not know or realize that the print screen button on the keyboard is a powerful leftover from decades ago just waiting to be used at anytime.
