I just installed preload and auto-cpufreq and I'm hoping they speed up my system. I installed them in Manjaro so if you're running a ubuntu debian based setup with sudo apt to install you might not find both but I'm pretty sure using synaptic you'll find preload to load stuff into memory. I also just installed 5.11rt kernel so that has a lot of updates from the 5.10 kernel.
