There are a lot of window managers out there so why waste time on one that is broken for you?
I've read this a 100x already at least. I cannot see firefox bottom which is not visible in full screen.
I've had this on for a few years now where on some distro's like Manjaro the area where the urls when cursor is over a link is not visible at all. Well earlier today I went over anything that could be making this irritating problem. It took me about a 1/2 hr to find that a setting that is set by default was doing it.
In Window Manager Tweaks go to accesibility tab, then the second setting is "Hide frame of window when maximized" Uncheck this. THis is a fucked setting for a computer, now a public system like an information computer this is fine but a users system this is a foolish setting. I think likely it was changed in GTK or the WM devs did it and no one noticed it since this is a major pain in the ass on many distro's out there with the bottom of Firefox just disappearing.
I like many thought it was a desktop of panel setting and I went through the Xfconf and investigated every setting but nothing there at all. I did find why xfce is so bland looking there if you go to the bottom of the scroll the last one is xsettings and the second Gtk list shows Color Pallette.
THis pisses me off. Why the fuck if computers can output billions of colors are there ONLY 20 fucking colors listed for use. THis is why xfce looks boring as fuck since using 20 colors is RETARDED. Who the fuck decided to stick to a tiny pallette that is around what a DOS game from 20 years ago would be restricted to. Why the fuck haven't they fixed this or changed it.
Hell we are past NES and even SNES is 256 colors but WTF. I want a palette that is a billion colors. This is why Manjaro is stuck with that queer teal color likely or some other lamer reason.
Sorry went off topic. Just uncheck the hide window frames setting like I said above and Firefox won't act all gay and shit again.
