or specifically mxlinux ahs "advanced hardware support". I've been using manjaro since I could not get mx linux to install or even get the live desktop to show up for the installer since I built my new system. Well I put the error in a search engine and did not know about mx linux ahs. I've had up till around 3 months ago a 2016 Dell. Now I am running a new setup and it installed in 4 minutes using usb 3.0 sandisk ultra. I then installed to a sandisk extreme pro usb 3.2 version 1 256gb stick. The speed is amazing since my old sandisk cruiser 64gb stick was 3.0 and the difference is huge in responsiveness. Also this version of MX seems much more stable then Manjaro and more responsive also. I believe Manjaro's setup for the hardware/graphics is not as good as MX and I still have on MX my orage panel clock Manjaro can't even install anymore since the xfce 4.16 update that is gone and the internet seems slower and more iffy on manjaro where MX is running faster online also. This ahs iso is something manjaro has need of. It's been out for a while but since I had no need of it till now I never even looked for an alternative to the regular MX linux that does not install well at all on my ryzen5 b450 setup.
