          Cool, I'll queue up the download then. I have a disk set up with Ventoy so it'll be easy for me to dump the ISO there and test out Mint. I've just been intimidated to try non-*buntu distros. I couldn't figure out how to install any programs when I tried a few years ago. A quick search tells me Mint is based on Ubuntu so that should help. I had luck with Trisquel (also Ubuntu based) on an old laptop.
