I installed virtualbox and installed slackware distribution salix. Seemed pretty nice got online changed some stuff and all that. I went to update and install some software and the package manager just sits there or locks up. It might because I made the vdi for it using MXlinux so the vdi was on a usb stick. It's like the damn thing does not know how to install to the OS on a usb stick since it thinks it's on a hard drive. I was so looking forward to trying out slackware for the first time and this shit happened kind of lets the air out of my balloon.

I still love gentoo, and use it as my underlying dist, to host VirtualBox
