Just being proactive. Not sure I like what Clem did with Cinnamon. If the upgrade goes as poorly this weekend as I think it will, I may need to either fiddle fuck with a new front end, or just do a full reinstall. I'm not hindered by Nvidia anymore, so all distros are on the table. Any particular suggestions, or distros you've tried recently and know to avoid?

Haven't you said you've had issues with Fedora, historically?

I have, it used to be a PITA to get steam to work but a lot of people have put a lot of work into it since then. Since this spin is designed around desktop+gaming I have a feeling it will probably be fine.

I won't know until I have a system running it. Maybe this weekend at best but I need some custom power cables that I will either have to make or see if I can order them so it could be longer. These little mining rigs have non-standard stuff so its kind of annoying.

Was also looking at CachyOS. If I was gonna touch Arch, it would be that or Endevor
