I still think Ray tracing is a stupid fucking gimmick, but with more and more games now requiring it just to run, any improvements are appreciated.

I will always turn it off if the option is given however.

It's part of why I haven't played Doom Dark Ages yet despite being a fan of the series. I'm not fiddle fucking with a game that requires Ray tracing

I member rendering the POV-Ray fish example on Amiga 500 (320x240x8). Took a week to render. Great times.

I missed the boat on the c64 sadly. I did manage to get ahold of an apple iie through....means, and remember how much of slog even that was
