Gimp. It does more than I need, and has lots of capability that I find useful. Learn about layers - that can be confusing when you don't know what's going on. they are an important concept of gimp.
Depends what your using it for. GIMP is the closest 1:1. Kitra is really good too.
Am I hallucinating that GIMP used to be standard on a lot of distros?
I rarely edit photos, and I am kind of a Linux-tard who uses Mint, but I swear to God GIMP used to be one of the programs that came with Mint.
Regardless, thanks for pointing out the obvious, to you and @DocAwe
if your using Mint, the default "Drawing" Program is good for basic shit. Used it a few times.
I think you meant Krita, not Kitra.
I don’t even have Krita installed right now though. Gimp is all I need.
Yeah, thats the one LOL. I know it's used more for tablet drawing. My son uses it.
>gimp

Can do everything Photoshop does and it is Free!
I feel that hint of agony every time I use anything in Libre Office
Only one that comes to mind is GIMP.
GIMP is pretty good.
