How's that "standards are a good thing" working out for you these days?

Open Source failed us again. When everyone jumped on the Chromium bandwagon, they screwed us all to this new manifest apocalypse. IE, as bad as it was, was a different animal and it put pressure on jewgle to not pull shit like this so brazenly even if it was jewed as well. But everyone wanted it dead. Enjoy the aftermath of standardizing around jew controlled garbage.

In addition, some Chromium-based browsers have said they'll continue to support V2 Manifest apps for as long as possible.

That's the issue, right there. People can shit all over Firefox all they want, but at the end of the day, you have 1 of 3 (viable) web browser options: Chrome based, Gecko (Firefox) based, or Safari based. And given Safari is Apple exclusive, we realistically only have 2. You can shit on the Fox all you want, but eventually, everyone Brave and Opera included, will HAVE to bend the knee to Google's wishes because they don't code the bitch themselves.

All that said: this will hopefully be the kick in the ass we need to get more web browser diversity into the market. I know we have a few Linux opensource projects. If they can mature a bit, maybe we can have some real competition.
