If you want to upgrade your System76 machine to a stable Ubuntu 24.04 desktop you’re going to have to go with standard Ubuntu or one of the other Ubuntu based distros. If System76 is only getting their first alpha release out in August this thing probably won’t be stable until the next Ubuntu LTS release.
A lot of people will be following their instructions (support.system76.com) for installing regular Ubuntu.
