X is now less insecure.
An office full of insecure X machines was the halcyon days of computing. Everyday brought you an amusing and harmless prank and the opportunity for humorous revenge. It broke the monotony and kept spirits high.
I scripted random bell pitch and duration changes on my friend's SGI. Every wrong click was somewhere between fog horn and dog whistle. A masterpiece of programming. You could do that even if you were not logged into the console. SGI was secured with screen doors.
