Odd. I just downloaded the boot image for it last night. Still haven't gotten around to installing it, though.

Steep learning curve for the uninitiated but well worth it.
Recommend : default/linux/amd64/17.1/desktop/plasma (stable)
Also, you're gonna want this: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Gentoo_without_systemd
Have fun and if you have more than one box really recommend distccd to cut down on compile times.
